Gary and Dana Burmeister of Mt. Auburn are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Burmeister to Luke Grantz, the son of David and Gwen Grantz of Goose Lake.

The couple will be married on August 4, 2012, at American Lutheran Church in La Porte City, with a reception to follow at the La Porte City Golf Club.

Amy earned a B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Education from Iowa State University in 2007 and 2009. Luke earned a B.S. in Agricultural Studies from Iowa State University in 2003. Amy is employed as a high school agricultural education teacher at Starmont High School in Arlington and Luke farms in Goose Lake.
